Anyone have a solution that works good for carbon buildup in their ultrasonic? Plan to run the 22 pistol parts in there, Had the ultra sonic for 2 years and have never used it yet. Just wondering what the best solution was for breaking carbon up.

I cheap out and just use a helping of dish soap and vinegar in my ultrasonic. But I won't claim my parts or cases are especially shiny clean.

I'm looking into making or buying a suspension to use in an ultrasonic cleaner. I used one many years ago and recall some folks saying that abrasive particulates suspended even partially in a suspension media was extremely efficient at cleaning. Makes sense to me that having crushed walnut or glass powder jiggling against the target item sure would work better than a liquid vibrating against it.
