I can see the cost of the CO2 being an achilles heel. Man I wish we could just recharge them with a compressor (I know the PSI is all wrong)

Uncertain. 88 gram is what is specified on the Umarex site. You might have to give them a shout.

Looking at the threading on the co2 cartridge, the paintball HPA equipment should work.
A 68cubic inch carbon fibre tank filled to 4500psi with the regulator calming it down to 750psi feeding through a remote hose (tank on the back of a vest).
Sweet.

It's not straight forward, but certainly doable.

Have an older Umarex Hammerli 850 .22 that runs on Co2. Also have an older 2x12g CO2 adapter.
Still converted it to PCP to make use of my Pneumatic Pump.

I’m surprised the market seems to be drifting towards air power as opposed to systems powered by a .22lr blank. I’d much rather carry around a pocket full of blanks than mess around with temperature sensitive CO2 or jury rigged tanks.

My experience yes! Also, 12g can be had for .50cent ish per in bulk..do the math.

I searched the interweb and what I gathered is yes you can use them. My local Canadian tire has them in stock and I have about $200.00 in CT money

Same...I have $100 gift card. ..u see the CT video of the 5 on 1? lol The 90's are $11/12 per...still cheaper with a 12g adapter.
