Lol, surplus hasn't been cheap since the summer. Corrosive x39 ammo is going for the same price as non-corrosive .223
Almost not worth owning a red rifle that shoots x39 anymore.lol

Just bought 62 today for $269, while non-corrosive .223 is $499. There is savings to be had.
Well my prices are based on Canada Ammo pricing. He is selling 1200rnds of x39 for $299. That's .25 a round. He was also selling 1600rnds of .223 for $399, which is .25 a round.
I see Canada Ammo raised their prices on .223, but my preorder for .223 should still hold, so technically it's still the same price.![]()
Yes you are correct, but Canada Ammo has been out of 7.62 for a while now, and that stuff wasn't surplus it was Norinco clean ammo. So you can't really compare with that one exactly. I'm getting my 7.62 at 19 cents a round. Not a huge savings but it's something.
