Unbiased M16 Vs AK47 competiton

Exactally !!! AR for precision, AK for blowing some ones nuts off when you're aiming for their face.

Or so I was told by my friend in Canadian Forces.

In reality the AK-47 is super rare. I have only seen a few and shot one.

Now the AKM that people call an AK-47................they are everywhere.

Yup most weren't the actual AK47.

I still prefer the VZ58, or our CZ858 rifles over the AK.

If you watch some of the movies, they actually are using VZ58 rifles. Full Metal Jacket with the "sniper" scene when 8 ball, and private Cowboy get wasted was a VZ.

Couldn't believe the amount of flex in the barrel and entire action of the AK when he fires in slow motion. At 7:42 ish in the vid.

Exactly what I was going to say. Something isn't right there.

I was going to post a link to this one, but it's been chopped up to take out most of the scenes where the AK makes the M16 look like a gallery rifle from the county fair.

You could say the same thing about people calling the M16A2 (or whichever M16 variant is being looked at, I'm not necessarily referring to the video, which does appear to be an M16, not an M16A1 or A2) an M16. Same idea, no?

A friend's Arsenal SLR-105 using 7N6 surplus is basically equal in accuracy to a good AR using M193 or M855, granted its somewhat harder to get the best out of the AK at longer distances due to the sight setup.

Anyways it'll be interesting to see if semiauto AK-12 derivatives make it into the U.S. market.

Although some of the stuff they're saying is inaccurate, I think the History Channel comparison was done better.
