unboxing a Ruger Precision Rimfire

I had one on order and started looking into them. Didn't get the accuracy results that one would expect so I canceled and got a b22 fvsr and I'm happy to report it has typical savage accuracy at a way better price!

This is what I expected and found in my research also.

If they made them like the 10/22 and we could easily swap the barrel for a target one. It would be a fun little toy.

...Lilja and Green Mountain have barrels coming out soon

barrels can be easily swapped using an AR wrench

Look cool!

I would have wanted more scope on that bad boy!

I cant wait to start to see some actual accuracy results.

I ended up putting a Mueller 8-32x44 side focus scope on it. Accuracy testing continuing. Note of interest...some scopes may not have enough down elevation adjustment for closer ranges using the factory installed 30 MOA base. I called Ruger customer service and they are sending out a 0 MOA base free of charge.

Mine came with the BX-15, pinned to 10. Has a Nikon 3-9 on it for now. Loves CCI Velocitors%.

^that's interesting. Would you mind posting some targets? Not looking to disprove, I'm just curious to see what the rifle is capable of with fast ammo.

I’ll have to make new ones, I pitched those as I left the range. But I have a 10/22 Target/Tactical that loves them also.
