underbarrel accessories for H&K Mark 23?

So Wolverine Supplies had a listing for H&K's Mark 23 recently, I've been wanting to get my hands on one since the first time I played Metal Gear Solid, so I snapped it up immediately. Ideally, I'd like to mount some kind of taclight or laser unit to the rail, but I'm aware that the Mark 23 and the USP use a proprietary underbarrel rail system that's not compatible with picatinny rail accessories. I understand that there are adapters for the USP that can allow you to mount conventional accessories, will these adapters work with the Mark 23 or am I gonna have to spend a ton more money if I have to buy a purpose built underbarrel light/laser unit?
 
You already spent a ton of money on the gun and you are worried about the cost of getting an accessory specifically made for your rail type?

Those rail adaptors, while handy if you have no choice, place the acc too far down, IMO.
 
I wouldnt say I'm worried, I can live without one, but the purpose built lights and laser units I've seen are in the range of $12-1500, I'd really prefer a less costly option, at least as a stopgap until I can afford a proper unit someday
 
I'm guessing what you want is this: http://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/Mark-23-Picatinny-Rail-Adapter-207p1470.htm . Then you can mount just about anything. You could always ask Wolverine if they could get it for you. I'm pretty sure hkparts won't ship up here.
