I've been combing the internet for an aftermarket underfolding stock for an m1 carbine. All I can find are the Choate and the Buttler Creek side folding stocks. I don't like the high profile that the butt plate makes on them.
Does any one have a lead on an aftermarket manufacturer of m1 carbine underfolding stocks? As an alternate, if you know who would make a sidefolding stock that has a collapsible butt plate like I have seen on some mini14, that would do too.
I have seen a few photos of m1 carbines with an MP40-style stock. Was that custom/home made?
