Gentlemen, I have purchased a used Uberti Russian Model in 45 Colt and finds it shaves lead really bad. I slugged the throat and find it is .448 whereas the Uberti Schofields I have micrometer at .451 for three of them and .452 for the fourth. I was shooting .451 in the Russian and have flakes hitting my face and the external surface of the cylander is covered in lead. Does anyone know of any .448 or .449 bullets or can regular .451 be resized?
Or do I have to try and get the throat opened?
Any advise other than sell the pistol is looked forward too. thx Rigrat
