I came across a great site that takes all the various terms such as "exit pupil diameter " and breaks them down into simple explanations with pictures. If you are a visual learner then you understand the value of diagrams that illustrate. It's the Nikon website site (links provided) and I'm impressed with how they took all the terminology and provided an easy to understand explanation to help someone who is looking to purchase optics. I wished I would have seen this when I first starting learning about the differences and what was important. Again, this is a 101 site - not for the advanced, but it's a great resource to direct people who are tying to learn about what they need instead of simply reading product reviews.
