uneducated question 9mm

This question was asked a few days ago, so said yes, some said no. Most dealers will have deals on 1000 rounds that's all I've found. 9mm is relatively cheap anyways so I haven't found it a big deal

By def. "Surplus is when there is an excess supply of a product." 9mm is the NATO std so NO 9mm surplus. CanAm had NORC 9mm early last yr, not sure if surplus or NOS.

i thought i remembered seeing IVI 9x19mm surplus on one of the sponser site not long ago... a crate of a 1000 rnds? am i mistaken...

It's still used with militarys to this day so they use it ie very little surplus comes out because it gets used up and they stock pile it still. If they ditch the 9mm because it's a small round and go with something new then you will see surplus.

Surplus as in old military rounds? Sure is exists but it is not common...9mm is still in high use.

What you can/should do and are possibly thinking? is buying in BULK. Always cheaper to do it that way and as well as that you can get even cheaper ammo by going steel cased instead of brass but it is non re-loadable but makes a good choice for outdoor winter shooting as your not chasing your brass into snow banks!!! :p

Yes I am thinking bulk..as with most ammo I purchase is done in bulk..and I have no intention to reload.

Then just buy crates of ammo it will always go up in price just like all ammo over time it just goes up and up. It really comes down to how much you shoot as reloading can get your costs down allot or a little depending on what you shoot.
