If anyone lives in Calgary and wants to pick up a common magpul accessory check out pmhobbycraft.ca

They have store(s) in Calgary and you can order on the site and have it for pickup at the store for free.

You can go to the store and look but especially now that Christmas has come and gone their stock is really low.

Anyway, thought I would pass on the info, not many people would expect a paintball/airsoft supplier to carry genuine Magpul stuff but there ya go!
Maybe this thread can save you some shipping charges on ordering parts?

Cheers

Looking at the website it appears all their magpul stuff is PTS except for the XT and XTM rail covers.
Glad that point was brought up though.

My rifle is basically an airsoft anyway (M&P 15-22) so I don't think the lower quality parts are a big issue.

So maybe just a good place to buy rail covers without paying shipping costs?

Why not just order off DealExtreme?

These badboys fit my PMAGS perfectly EXCEPT for the fact that the rivet sometimes causes them to bind and they are Molle spec.

2 mag pouches for $15? How can you compete with that?

Here's all their Magpul Airsoft stuff:

It's hit or miss with them and the quality isn't always there - but unless the government or your employer is flipping the bill, if you're never going to use it for something life or death - why bother paying big bucks for gear you'll never need? I'd rather buy ammo.

Magpul is made/designed in USA (Made in USA is stamped on all of their packaging). Magpul PTS is based and manufactured out of Hong Kong and is licensed to make their products for the airsoft market. PTS does not use the same polymer recipe as the actual Magpul parts (as they are not designed to be used on firearms).

But the PTS stuff will make your d!ck fall off.

Cant tell ya, but i wouldnt use Volkswagen parts in a Porsche just because theyre owned by the same company.

True story. I bought a PTS stock for my norc AR, not only did my d!ck fall off but the rifle spontaneously combusted. Oh and I have a pain in my left butt cheek from the extra cash in my wallet.

check out dealextreme.com probably the same stuff, better pricing and free shipping.

harbl_the_cat beat me to it, should have read the whole thread first.

Funny thing is alot of the stuff off DealExtreme is stamped "Made in USA" "Made in Israel" "Made In Austria" etc.

God bless the Chinese.

dx is horrible, on the wallet anyways.

Yeah they do got lots of magpul stuff, wether its any good I couldnt tell ya, but for the price Id give it a go for sure.

TimeAttack,

Thanks for sharing the information! The majority of parts are Magpul PTS, but there is a small mix of the 'A Grade' kit available as well.

I loaded up on XTM Rail Covers for a fraction of the price the other stores are charging in Canada.

For anyone else interested, just check the PM HobbyCraft part numbers against the Magpul part numbers to be sure of what you're getting before you order.
