I was in the south location looking for rail covers. I ended up having an interesting conversation with one of the sales team.
He explained to me, that after watching some "end of the world" TV show he and his girlfriend had decided to get their gun licenses - good on them. She had mentioned that they need a firearm for "home defense" - oh oh.
Now he had talked to his "buddy", and was told that the firearm for that would be a 17 HMR, the buddy even hunts bear with it! After starting to touch on Canadian "home defense" (or lack of), and provincial hunting regs and getting no where, I ended up laughing my @ss out the door.
I placed my order from deals xtreme as well, it was less insulting.

Yeah toy stores are worse than gun shops for BS. There's a tacticool store in G.P. I've been in twice. Once cos me and a buddy were bored and again to get some paracord. The first time I went I was told that their sunglasses could stop a bullet... Second time I got lucky cos that employee was not there. Haven't been back since. I did notice cheap airsoft tac vests for several hundred bucks... FFS
