I have read many threads and other internet information regarding the sks-d.
I have a few new in bag to sell and am interested in knowing what people are paying for these as the prices vary.
Are some more desirable than others?
They have blade bayonets and 5 round mags.

Thank you in advance for any information.

If they have the AK style mag release, $700

However with the new Type 81 and Kodiak Defense SKS KD coming soon, i believe the prices of those sks-d of yours are uncertain. Now might be a good time to put them for sale.

Hope that works

Looks like the SKS-M style of magazine retaining latch as opposed to the SKS-D mag latch.

I had one similair as shown, worked okay.

Has less appeal now that there are mag fed alternatives such as CZ 858 or the HiCal conversion kit for the SKS but still a demand; suspect they would sell easily at the $600-700 range.

I bought my D last year in unfired, mint condition for $600.00. It came with a 5 round mag, 3-5/30mags, a gun case, bag of stripper clips, vented hand guard new in bag and a new front sight adjustment tool. Mine doesn't have a bayo on it and the guy said he bought it in 2006 from Frontier Firearms.

That looks like a SKS-M
SKS-D had a spike beyonet and ak style mag release
SKS-MC5D had no beyonet and a Monte Carlo stock

Unfired probably $700 if you find a buyer

This is one from two investors packs bought from Allen. I have spiked bayonets as well but not detachable mags.
I have seen them with blade or spike. I have never tried but this one should accept an ak mag.
different release than my others

D's also came with a blade bayonet. With over ten D's passing thru my hands, I had one with a blade bayonet & ak mag release, not the m release. The stock was original for a "D" using blade bayo and was not a modified standard stock(usually plugged magwell area). The pic of the "sks-d" in question is not a D.....looks like the m. Since we only have 5 rd mag limit, there should be no issues with this style mag release. If using 30rd mags, they usually would not hold up well as ak mag release due to weight of full magazine.

Thanks for the info...it has been so long since I looked at these that I now remember the two different magazine release mechanisms.
The one on the bottom with folding stock is completely different.
I will have to pull them all out to see what is there.
When it is an "m" does that mean it was made by a different manufactured?

I'll never understand people, these are not nearly as nice as the unissued russians floating around.
