Have a 25-06 that seems to relish almost anything too, but so far the best accuracy has been with Nosler 85 BT's and H4831. Less than 1/2 MOA,
and more than a few under a 1/4. Very confidence inspiring at 200 when you can cover groups with a quarter with a hunting rifle !
Have found Sierra's to be very good in several rifles, but don't hunt with them. Prefer Hornady V-Vax of Nosler BT's for Varmint loads and
Nosler BT's / Partitions for game. Have tried Speer, Barnes, Berger & Hornady,
but as a rule, have pretty much settled on Noslers.
At the range yesterday, 6 different 25-06 loads of Retumbo with both standard and magnum primers ... 110 Accubonds. All shot into an inch ...
one with 60 grains with standard FGM210M's went into .345" at 100 yards.
Still have to play a little with seating depth to see what it "really likes" !
Goin' to give the 110 Accubonds out on Whiteys this Fall.
