I like to seat my bullet long and for the 300berger hybrid I have I would like to put more freebore on my new 338AI rifle
maybe somebody could lend me the tool

any imput will be appreciated to save me an order and wait from PTG @126$+30$shipping US

before you ask the rifle is single shot so no mag restriction

I run my edge at 4.1" your not really long till you break 4"...

I was thinking mag fed: 3.880 IS getting long when operating a mag fed bolt action.

3.88 is pushing it for mag fed. I don't remember off hand but I thought the wyatt extended internal box was around 3.9". At 4.090" I am well into single feed territory. For mag fed I have to switch bullets, i actually had good results with the 225gr ttsx, not a target bullet for sure, but decent for dual purpose hunting use.
