Unidentifyed military sight

I found this sight many years ago in a gunshow.

It is stamped with the Canadian marking C Broad Arrow and there a crown over the number 2.

Where does it go ? A Ross ? A Lee Enfield ? I am curious.

Look on the right side of the actual sight itself. If it has HWC in a circle, the sight itself was made by Cooey. Cooey made Mk.III sights for the M-10 Ross too.

Late 90s I bought a sporterised no2mk4 Cdn marked .22 rifle complete with that type of sight on it for only $150. Last time I saw one of those sights on ebay it went for more than what I paid for mine with a rifle attached.
