I'm just getting set up and a buddy sold me his reloading stuff, his powder measure came with a spare cylinder andwhat loked like a spare measurig rod, but with the numbers aranged the other way around from the normal one and a flat end. Looks like of like a fat nail or screw. What are these for?

Thank you.

Yep, the larger hole is for the larger charges. I have a uniflow i bought used and it didn't come with the smaller drum. I tried to throw some pistol loads once, and it didn't work out too well... It threw something along the lines of 2.9, 3.6, 1.7, 4.2 grains in that sort of pattern. I gave up and bought a used lil dandy for less than the cost of the uniflow drum :)
