Thinking of putting a deposit on a new TPG 1 in .308
Would like to know if anybody had an experience with this one
All likes and dislikes would be greatly appreciated

For the money you will spend on that, you can get 4 custom rifles that will out-shoot it hands down. They only pledge a half minute with select match ammo. I can get that with a hunting rifle. Add $450 custom barrel to that hunting rifle and i can make it shoot even better than that.

This is not better at anyting it does, it is just cool looking at a mucho premium price.
 
I did take a look at them on the web, but have never fondled one. I stopped looking at them when I found out how much they cost. That is a dedicated outfit, that does nothing that an AI or Sako wouldn't do for far less money.

But I would hate to see the price tag to get one of them into Canada... or getting service for that matter.

If I had more money than brain, I'd love to get an AMP DSR1... at least they have a Canadian distributor that backs them up.

Unique Alpine TPG-1 has a distributor in Calgary (CIE Canada Inc) and will cost me 4900.00 Can
I did call and spoke with people from Shooting Edge also in Calgary
Cost on one of DSR 1 by DSR Precision is 12,000.00 Can

What do you think?

It does look cool but it is a little to short for 500m, dont you think?

I preffer length to be 24 to 26 inch
