Came across this while out bird hunting yesterday. Any ideas what it exactly pertains to, or who uses that kind of purple ID ribbon? The tree was on a sort of hillside that had been partially clearcut(there was a big wingless, prehistoric-Dodo like bird sitting at the top of it - so I shot it! - just kidding
