Here is the most delightful little 22 that I recently handled. It is absolutely match accurate, incredibly well made, very smooth action, and apparently rare. Trying to find information on it on Google is tough, as there is very little to none. It is made in France and a youth Biathlon Model, is about all I know about it.

Hoping there is someone out there with a lot of information on this particular rifle and is willing to share it :)

I did a search in french here is what i found , its origine is basque spanish
two brother move to france pyreness (sp).
The companies started in 1923 Manufacture d'armes des Pyrénées françaises
and 1928 became MAPF,the companie continued by sons until
2001 then sold to F.M.R.

Not munch info on these:)

Thanks Paul, I had page 2 of that link but not one and three. Now to find an original unique scope and mounts.

So very few of these were made, the semi auto is much more common x-51 and much easier to find, owners and info on. It looks like of the T.SM model very very few have changed hands even in Europe over the past few years. Found two that have sold in the last three years. Obviously information is next to nil and with the company closed, no way to really get any history on the particular rifle. Unique did have a branded scope for the T.SM, but it was made in Japan, likely by bushnell or maybe even tasco, fixed 4x32. Even the French gun oficionados know very little about the gun....interesting. One thing is for absolute sure, its one heck of an accurate rifle. Just sharing a little of what has come up in a lot of searching....not much.

Finally spoke to a French Armorer in France, and these are indeed extremely rare and now only found in the hands of collectors, The TSM had the lowest production run of all Unique's 22.s the X-51 and Dioptre were at one time imported into the U.S. the TSM never was They also made a (x)-66 which was a Target model, again in higher numbers than the T_SM. This little gun shoots absolutely bone straight and in the hands of the right dead eye, would indeed rival the 40x all day. Best I can shoot is 0.400 groups outside to outside, without a rear bag, and thats only one group out of 5, the gun is consistent, not me. Simply sharing some info on a rare, accurate, relatively unknown 22.
