Unissued Polish TT-33's

Sadly, I cannot shoot mine using the surplus ammo at the RA indoor range. Second year now. They said the 7.62x25 (and a couple other calibers) are damaging their backstop.
 
why whats wrong with the polish ones?

i did a quick google search but didnt find anything negative

I've read somewhere that polish and egyptian made TTs have some non interchangeble parts with russian & romanian made, which makes these parts a lot less avalable.

It's not the caliber, it's a steel core that goes trough backstop like a butter. If you shoot FMJ you are good.

I have another Tok 1945, it did not shot many rounds since in service and will stay original.
