Unknown Flintlock - Need help ID'ing it

Ok some have seen I've been email pictures of various guns to ID them for someone's estate. I do not have the guns in my hand (in case someone asks).

So I've now got a Flintlock rifle. Trying to figure out some more info about it.

The old registration sheet for this gun states the manufacture as "US TOWER" (Gun states made in Japan)

Made in Japan modern reproduction of a US military musket that has been 18th century sporterized? The brass butt plate and engraving on the lock are not military issue but are fanciful enough to be a reproduction of something an 18th century hunter would do to a surplus musket in his time.

I found a similar percussion version on the web - It looks like it might be a trade-gun reproduction made by Mitakpu (sp?) of Japan; apparently they made them for SEARs in the U.S.
