Unknown Pistol Magazine 7.65 M/M

Hi everyone,
Purchased a Belgium made WW2 German holster which had this magazine inside. Is it a for some model of a Browning? or PPK? Its a smaller holster that could fit a PPK or such. Not sure Ive seen a Browning magazine with the kick or boot bottm (not sure if this is the correct term) Only mark is 765 M/M on the bottom.

Is it even old?? as it looks to be in great shape.

Anyone??

Yup I was thinking it could be but I dont own a PPK although I wish I could and play 007 at the range!

Thanks for the info. Great to kinda narrow it down to a Walthers.

I hope to figure this out soon as I cant use it and maybe someone on this forum can.
 
This is an FN/Browning 1910 mag. A Belgian make.

The base is unique to the "model 1971". I have some of these in 9mm K (.380). These will hold either 7.65 (.32) or 9mm K, even though they're marked 7.65. They may need a touch of a file to fit a standard 1910, some fit just as they are.

Short answer: Not "old" as in pre-war or something. Could be 40, I'm not sure how long they made the model 1971 but there aren't that many around, certainly not compared to the standard model 1910s which number in the millions.

I'd estimate the value around $35-$40 (plus shipping). New ones were still available recently. Still a nice find! Send me a PM if you want to sell it, or want to buy a pistol to fit to your mag...
 
And sorry, I forgot to mention, the PPK crowd isn't entirely wrong either. In a pinch, you can hold these in your PPK. The magazine release slot isn't right, but your eyes are very good: dimensionally, very similar, and they will feed! They won't lock the slide open on empty, etc. but you will no longer have a single shot pistol.
