hey all..today i mounted a scope on the m/l:D then i had a few try,s at adding a cap:D then i the urge to lodge a bullet it..
but i stopped there,as i was not sure on how to remove it after wards
so all..the big question of the day will be..
when im out hunting and all loaded up with pellets and bullets..how do i get the bullet and pellets out if i do not take a shot that day?

Sounds as if you have one of those new fangled ones that looks like a britch loader. Is it one that can have its breechplug easily removed? If so, there is your answer. If not, and if the bullet is set down tight, you can use a little drill bit fitted on the end of a rod, followed by a ball pulling screw on the end of the rod. Drill bit makes a pilot hole for the screw. Easiest way to unload a ml gun is to shoot it, but that may not be practical depnding on the circumstances.

TinMan123 is right if it's an inline rifle. I've done this lots of time. If you fire off your rifle, you have to clean it. If not fired this is the way to go. There is also a gadjet you can buy, called a CO2 discharger. you put it up against the nipple, + it shoots a blast of compressed air thru the breech plug, pushing your pellets + bullet out the barrel. I"ve also done this. Be sure to point your rifle in a safe direction. In order to keep the pellets + bullet for future use, wrap a blanket or parka around the muzzle or you will never find them.

I shoot BP since 30 years and I use a CO2 discharger since they have been on the market. The bullet always comes out, no powder left. This is a no hassle gadget that get the job done fast and easy.

8ball never heard of one what is the 411 on them I would like to know more.
That sound like the way to go I always just shot and cleaned.
Hell even if you had a brain fart and dryloaded you would get it out I LIKE already!!!!!!
Thanks Ken

I bought on of these CO2 Ezunloaders from a member of this site about a year ago and would not go out shooting without it. So far only had to use it once and it performed great.

I had been looking or one for awhile and called cabellas at the time and they said that it was on the list of 'cannot ship to Canada'. So I just lucked on to the one I have know.

If you do find one, don't wait, get it now. You will not regret it

just took it apart to try:D i think it would easier to just blast it out:D
when i had it all apart..i noticed that the thingy that holds the primer is not the same design as the spare ones i had:eek: the one in the gun is for a 209 primer
can these thingy,s be interchanged in all m/l,s?

Another trick you can use if you have an air compressor in your shop is to remove the nipple and apply air pressure with with a rubber tipped air nozzle. Point the muzzle in a safe direction because that slug comes out with some force. 110 psi popped it out stronger than I thought it would . If you have a regulator you may want to turn it down a little.

I think you are talking about the nipple which holds the 209 primer. My Remington has a 209 shot shell, musket cap and #11 percussion cap nipple as the ignition source and this allows the shooter to choose the one you want to use. You better check with your gun maker.
