At Canadian Tire, 15 - 19 December. $5 off every purchase over $20. A box of 525 .22LR Federal Gameshock for $21.99; Winchester 12 ga slugs are 15 for $14.99. Canadian Tire is 2 minutes away from my house; so I believe I will be making a stop buy every day to pick up some ammo

CT 5 minutes away gonna stock up on the slugs and some high end ammo no federal bulk packs for me they shoot as well as buckshot out of my Ithaca.

In Dartmouth/Halifax area Canadian Tire .22LR and 12 gauge bulk pack ammo are usually $5-10 more than Wal*Mart to begin anyways so it's not really a deal or sale.

At Canadian Tire stores in B.C. they record your PAL# into a log book, left at front counter. I buy alot of stuff from Cambodian Tire but NEVER ammo.

i don't know about BC, but in ontario, they ALWAYS record you PAL #, they have to, you can't buy ammo without it (at any store)

Not sure what's going on at the Kamloops store, but I have never had my PAL # recorded at any CT in the lower mainland or in the interior....

This NOT law in BC, and should never be cooperated with. Either protest this to the manager, or stop buying your ammo there. And tell the manager why!

Which one are you shopping at?? I buy ammo at my local can tire at least once-twice a week, and it's never been logged. As a matter of fact, the last time I went, the kid that opened the case for me never asked for it, nor did the lady up at the till. I called her out on it and she didn't even ask to see it after I mentioned it. She just shrugged her shoulders and asked; "are those, like bullets?" lol Just shook my head and walked out.

The day they ask for me PAL # is the day I stop buying there.

It is the law in Ontario, as for the rest of the country, it is simply a company policy.
