Unofficial Canadian Tire Ammo Sale

CT 5 minutes away gonna stock up on the slugs and some high end ammo no federal bulk packs for me they shoot as well as buckshot out of my Ithaca.

I like shooting buckshot out of my Ithaca....37....;)

What .22 does your Ithaca saddlegun like best?

i don't know about BC, but in ontario, they ALWAYS record you PAL #, they have to, you can't buy ammo without it (at any store)

There's a fair bit of B.S. here in Ontario. In Toronto, I have yet to find a CT that still sells ammo, so the best they can do here is try to get my PAL when I want to buy a trigger-lock, and walk me to the cashier after I purchase one. The emasculation of the southern Ontarians is near complete...:(

I know when i buy ammo from wally world, the till will actually display "check FAC" or something like that. They never write it down or anything, and I would never have my name and/or address in a book in a store like that.

At Canadian Tire, 15 - 19 December. $5 off every purchase over $20. A box of 525 .22LR Federal Gameshock for $21.99; Winchester 12 ga slugs are 15 for $14.99. Canadian Tire is 2 minutes away from my house; so I believe I will be making a stop buy every day to pick up some ammo :)

Last time I was in CT (about a month ago) it was a regular price...

At Canadian Tire stores in B.C. they record your PAL# into a log book, left at front counter. I buy alot of stuff from Cambodian Tire but NEVER ammo.

Not in Langley either. They glance at my PAL and ask, "Is this you??", then open the case and let me take what I want.

I've been to a few Crappy Tires here in NS to buy ammo and only one tried to record my PAL. I walked out. Walmart doesn't record.

Canadian Tire is on my ####list and I try to avoid buying there if at all possible. They have a well known record of screwing people over in the Automotive Repairs dept. and I refuse to support their ####ty games.

Update: You need a stupid coupon to get the discount. One store I was at didn't have any - fortunately, I had 3 :)

Has anyone tried this in Ontario? I just called the CT in Kingston (Kingston Centre) and they had no idea about any ammunition sale... :(

Some might. None that I've ever bought at in the lower mainland or Squamish did, though.

It isn't an ammo sale per say. There are coupons in an ad sheet for $5 off any purchase in store over $20.

Any idea where you get the coupons from? I haven't seen any around here.

It's a big calendar at the till with different deals for everyday of the month. The free Tom Cochrane CD was horrible!!!! You have to spend $20 before taxes. Great deal if you just want to spend 20 dollars on ammo everyday for the next few days. :)

I have never had my pal recorded at any place that sells ammo. 90% of the time I buy my ammo from the local gun shop, but on the very few occasions I have purchased at Wal Mart or CT, they have never even asked me for my PAL.

There was a huge jump in ammo prices a few months back. The 100 pack clay loads used to be $20. Now they're around $26-30. Those 15 pack slugs used to be $11.99 forever, they've since gone up as well.

Back on topic, where are the coupons located? Are they only in store? I checked their website, and haven't seen anything yet, which is unusual. Usually I get an email when they do this promotion, and it is at least posted on their page with a link to the .pdf coupon...

Hmmm, so do you have to make them in individual purchases? Something tells me it's not $5 off per $20 spent... is there a one transaction a day limit?

Yeah, I would love to know about the Digital caliper sale!! I could use a better one...
Not in Kelowna
X2. never recorded my # in K-town.
