Unprecedented Numbers of Handguns Clearing

Good to hear that there is an increase of transfers getting approved
I'm still waiting for my last one that i got from a different sponser (TI). hopefully it gets approved soon its been a few months already
 
Great post. Was curious as to how it was going... waiting since August.
My CFO assures me transfer is completed within 24 hrs of receipt in their office.
 
I'm in Alberta mine just came through this last week, august 14 purchase.

I'd imagine it would be if he could re-stock his shelves with more to sell...
 
My purchases from late July to mid Aug are all approved.
Im in BC and bought from PR and also Reliable. 4 month wait for transfer clearance on each item and fast delivery from both dealers .
One of the transfer times was 818pm pst

Lol where do you think it’s been for The last few months. Floating around space and Not at the cfo? They had it the day you bought it. It’s in the pile with everyone else’s.

I’m Guessing my Oct one is still a ways off…

Actually it isn’t. I have a good personal relationship with my CFO as a result of other circumstances. The transfer notification issues we are experiencing our way are a result of the bottleneck at Miramichi. I can’t share the finer details but I know it’s not idly sitting in their office here at home .
 
They should hire more staff to get the pistols done
Then they will be able to deal with the firearms buyback program

Ditto I have a Ruger Wrangler from you, with a transfer coming up in Ontario in the next few days.

Thanks for the heads up and warning! Bit too cool for outdoor shooting anyway but will try to be patient.

Ontario apparently hired more staff. We’re still it beginning of August there. 588###x numbers. They won’t batch transfer and they don’t take calls.
 
and i cant believe that despite all those to be shipped you find the time to ship within the next day two orders i did for bullets. amazing service and congrats to the team.
 
Just want to give a shout out to all the dealers in all this who have kept communication open.

I have noticed a few nice things with several dealers, amongst all the mistrust and paranoia that is the gun world, and just wanted to recognize the efforts that have not gone unnoticed.

That is great honest communication and it is appreciated
 
I just got my M17 delivered in BC. I purchased that in mid August. Cleared on Dec 29th and shipped on Jan 3rd. I got it in my hands on Jan 7th. Registration was received on Jan 12th.
