I’m looking for a last minute .44mag. Thought I was done my panic buying, but I decided I’d like to have a .44 in my collection.

I’d prefer a SW. but would be open to others. Just can’t afford a $3k anaconda.

If anyone happens to see one, please PM me, if it’s not too much hassle.

Thanks!

Always compare prices with prices on manufacturer's website. Don't overpay and have some patience. you will see how prices on handguns will fall soon.

People who paid extremely high prices will eventually not be able to pay their credit card bills when the bank will be knocking on their doors and killing their credit limit. Another type of group among these purchasers will be those who didn't like their purchases and will want to get rid of handguns since they bought cheap quality stuff for too high price because sellers sold them dreams of having guns like in Hollywood movies (for example Canik, Glock, etc all polymer and plastic) which has nothing to do with reality. Many of these flippers will start to get cancellation due to 4-6 month long waiting transfer time. Most people don't have that much time to wait. Since flippers by their flipping plans added only to more longer transfer time for everyone else.

Some buyers will realize that their handguns are not just sitting at flippers house but they are probably still being used by flippers occasionally on shooting range. This too will cause and boost huge cancellations. Since a buyer is Not obligated to to buy a handgun where a buyer has to wait too long, 6 months or maybe longer transfer time, specially for a handgun which has No Warranty since it is a second time purchased handgun (though flipper may claim it to be unused, it doesn't matter). Many buyers will contact CFO office directly to stop the cancellation process. When this happens, greedy flippers will have to pay back to these buyers. This is the law and sooner many buyers will understand how buy-sell regulations work and they will also realize that they bought second hand items (handguns) with No Warranty.

When the ban on handguns becomes permanent, this will include not only handguns but everything related to handguns, like handgun ammo, parts etc. This factor alone is the major factor for huge drop of prices on handguns.

So hold the line and wait. There will be once again abundance of cheap handguns and firearms.

Either way,
Price drop on firearms is inevitable and no one can stop it.

We all wish but...

The guy in the video is an American fundamentalist sanctimonious ass-hat who makes both Christians and gun owners look like idiots, and who exists in a reality totally not in line with our Trudeau Dystopian mess we call Canada.

Canada is always behind when it comes to price drops but it happens too in Canada. There was a time when people said you would never find toilet papers, lysol wipes, food etc anymore due to Covid and no production etc.. and prices went up. But today, you can see prices on same items have dropped significantly even during this inflation period.

Same with house prices, realtors told people that prices on houses would increase only, etc but you can see how price drop on houses are about to come, Nobody can stop them, not even realtors with their bla bla. State banks are willing to kill housing market to control inflation, remember this.

I am not saying prices on handguns will drop this week, but wait and watch what happens in few months when the govt will be making laws and policies preparing for a permanent ban on all these handguns, while people will be just sitting and waiting for transfers on their handguns and flippers will still be using handguns owned by buyers who still haven't gotten their transfers approved... All this will fire back and hence, Price drop on handguns and all other firearms.

This is an interesting post which I found. Older handgun owners are Panic selling their handguns before the permanent ban.

This is why its important to always compare asking prices with market prices on manufacturers websites. Don't overpay, they made it into a seller's market but that is soon over. It will soon become buyer's market again.

A price drop on restricted wouldn't surprise me but id be shocked to see any significant decrease in NR

1) Oil prices and other material which will force sellers to reduce prices on NR which they bought cheaper but raised prices on when they thought everything else was becoming pricey.

2) New models and new better material will force sellers to get rid of their old NR firearms.

3) Prices are high because of new buyers don't understand yet what firearm is made of. It's not a gold material, thus paying high price, 3K for a product which costed only 500 dollars before tax is indeed foolish.
