Some of the recent deals on 9mm - $19.50/50 - have been pretty good. It is just not worth reloading at current prices. It is going to cost about $17.00/50. We will see where prices go, I guess.

This is partially true, some gun shops have an 80% mark up. So it's not just the manufactures alone.

There still are some gun shops that do not gouge their customers.

Shop around, not every gun store is run by crooks.......:(

That is because 10 years ago they used to put 10% profits on a $100.00 product meaning it was $110.00 plus sales taxes.

Now the same product is $250.00 because there is compounding Carbon Tax added at every step and transport and they add 10% profit of $25.00 making it $275.00 plus sales taxes.

So yes, when they add 10% on top of the inflated costs and Carbon taxes, of course they make huge profits!!

I have remanufactured 115gr 9mm from only a few years ago with a price tag of $49.99 for 250 rounds still on the box. Prices won’t drop enough in any long run: the trend will always be UP!

I tried to sell 38special 124gr from the same vintage and company and sold it for $10.00 a box when online it is $24.99 a box right now: even when the deals are there people are broke.
 
Idiots, here’s a news flash. Hamas, hezbollah, IS, etc etc etc, have traditionally sourced their weapons, the vast majority, from Iran, Egypt, China and Russia. i haven't time yet to read this whole thread... but I just went and picked up another brick of Small Rifle primers and a couple more lbs. of powder after reading the first post, lol.

The last couple years of not shooting centrefire have been in a pain in the butt!
