A space after httpThe SL8 is no longer available in the US. When it was available, it came with a single stack 10 round H and K mag.It also only came with a thumb hole stock that was gray in color. Near the end of their run here , they sold for as little as $700.00 USD. The magazine limitation really turned a lot of people off on getting one. BTW , it was George Bush 1 that banned "imported" weapons that fit the designation "assault rifle". Bush signed an executive order that banned them. Of couse this started the kit rifle with enough American made parts to be considered "American "made. HE didn't ban the American made units such as Ruger,Colt,Bushmaster,etc because of the loss of jobs and the loss of that industry's support for the Republican party.But be advised That the Republican party is also a gun grabbing party as wittnessed by Bush 1 signing the executive order aka 922 legislation.
The Sunsetting of the Clinton signed assault weapons ban does not apply to Bush's 922 Executive order. As stated , 922 is and executive order that does not sunset and can only be stopped by new legislation. It continues today. My AK's must have enough American made parts to "qualify" as as American made and thus get around Bush's executive order.
Oh yes , one can use these guns to hunt as long as they apply to state law and will usually require only a 5 round magazine. Most states won't allow more than 5 rounds in the rifle. Knowing your work Armedsask I know that the ACOG is co-witenssed with the Eotech. But I have to ask where you got the ACOG clone. I know, I know, if you tell me you have to tell everyone else. But, enquiring minds want to know.
My Mctar 180B forearm will be here on Wed and I have a really nice holo sight to install that will co-witness the stock irons. I already have the ACE folding stock setup but am looking for other pimp options. Suggestions please without telling me to do fat girls or have chair ###. Already went that route and they don't have your insight on the AR 180B

I got the clone from www. 1337tactical.com, you can also get Leupold clones that I hear are very good optics for the price. I think he posts on here as Jacky something or other.
