Hi Gents,
I need a little bit of help here. I had a very good discussion with an expert on German markings when I posted multiple pictures of firearms held by my Regimental Museum. Sadly, I can't track down this discussion and I forgot who he was.
I'm trying to help a friend identifying a P38 pistol. I need to know what the markings can tell us about the pistol and if it is unusual or not. It could have been assembled with parts of the first model and also from parts with the second model, which I do not know if it could be possible.
I have some pictures of te pistol and just have to figure how to post them here. It's been a while I didn't post anything.
Factory: AC
Year: 1941
Serial #: 4049c
Thanks for your help!
