I've use a 8 gun Stack-On cabinet set-up horizontally for handguns. At first I had it on a shelf, then I placed it on top of my vertical 10 gun Stack-On cabinet, so they form a "T". It works great for handguns, with long guns in lower cabinet. I had 23 in it at one point, all on stands, and more than enough room to easily take any of them out without worrying about kisses.
