This is what's coming up in the next while for anyone interested. The 223 thing sounds like a bunch of fun.

July 18th & 19th - Canadian Match
Saturday - 2 + 10 at 300m, 2 + 15 at 500m, 2 + 15 at 800m and 2 + 15 at 900m
Sunday - 2 + 10 at 400m, 2 + 15 at 600m, 2 + 15 at 800m and 2 + 15 at 900


NEW!!!!! July 25th & 26th HRRC .223 Only Match
Saturday - 2 + 10 at 300m, 2 + 15 at 400m, 2 + 15 at 500m and 2 + 15 at 600m
Sunday -2 + 10 at 300m, 2 + 15 at 400m, 2 + 15 at 500m and 2 + 15 at 600m
DCRA Rules apply in addition to the following for rifle classification .223 only
•.223 Target Rifle
•.223 F Class
•Semi Auto / Open Sights > Restricted / Non-restricted ( Prohibs not allowed)
•Semi Auto / Scoped > Restricted / Non-restricted ( Prohibs not allowed)
:welcome:Factory Class: must have Factory Stock, Action, Barrel and Trigger. Accurized factory components are acceptable. Those in question per compliance are subject to Match Committee scrutiny

Semi auto 223... sounds interesting. I'll see if I can make it but why stop at 600m? ;)

Is the match Sat and Sun or just one or the other?
 
Like the sign says; Saturday and Sunday. We're keeping it at 600m so most any scope has enough useable elevation without a whole bunch of tapered whatnots or other fine items.

Well, that was an interesting weekend. Hot, twitchy winds and bullets with BC's like a bumble bee. M. Winfield had it nailed though. I was a bit disapointed with the attendance after all the chatter about the number of supposed entrants. Anyway, mostly F Class bolts with a few TR and some AR types. It was definitely challenging and a heck of a lot of fun. I'd like to see more of this type of thing. Even the AR's were in the ball bark. If I can figure out how, I'll post the results.

Saturday - 2 + 10 at 800m, 900m and 900m
Sunday- 2 + 10 at 800m, 800m and 900m

October 3rd & 4th - Frost on the Pumpkin Gil Hirst Memorial
Saturday - 2 + 10 at 300m, 2 + 15 at 500m, 2 + 15 at 800m and 2 + 15 at 900m
Sunday - 2 + 10 at 400m, 2 + 15 at 600m, 2 + 15 at 800m and 2 + 15 at 900m

We got no zuccinni, ya got to bring yer own.

The APRA Alternative Match Aug 15 and 16 has been cancelled. Most of the shooters and the match committee members will be in Ottawa for the CFRC or at other affairs. No one is availlable to run the match.

Wooo-Hooo....ROAD TRIP's!!!! Will have Frozen Zucchini's in hand when we arrive.....and you know where they go right Glen? ;);)
 
Richard, I certainly do! After the last 6 months having all manner of medical paraphenalia inserted and and employed up it, I'm sure there's now room for vegetables too.
Hope you guys can get here. We got wood this year too.
