I know a lot of guys in this forum love theyre custom builds, if theyre anything like me theyve always got something goin. so lets hear em, precision or not, whats your next BIG plan? I'll start the ball rolling:

#1 is another 700 action a krieger barrel a choate uss stock a millet optic and verious other accoutrements with/for a friend. its having the gunsmithing work done to the action/barrel right now.

#2 is an ultralight model in .308 im building, i ordered the stock from down south its 10 oz finished, thats pillar-bedded and recoil pad on, with a shilen featherweight CM barrel also en route to me as we speak. It will be going on a model 7 action as soon as I can find one.

#3 is my old remington rolling block in .38-55 its being rebarreled to a "more approriate twist" for blackpowder and lead bullets. its gonna be my old time precision rifle pretty excited about that one.

#4 is a barrelled action I bought here on the E/E that im also excited to go out and shoot a little. a trued 700 action on a gaillard barrel with match trigger and armstech mag extension(my first magged precision rig)

#5 is my "Mac 40" that is my go-to gun that im sure you've all seen more than enough photos of already.

so lets hear your big plans or see some photos, ill see if i can snap some pics of what parts i got.

if i can get enough money to order a shilen from mystic and then still have enough money to have it installed, thats gonna be it basicly

Project:
#1 6mmbr on a Stevens action waiting on barrel
#2 223rem on a Stevens action waiting on barrel
#3 Carl Gustaf swede (finish stock)
#4 Husky 9.3x62 (inletting new stock)
#5 keeping an eye on the EE for more projects. ;)

Only project this year is to get that SSS stock that I ordered in July here and finished. Bed/pillar it and shoot that gun a lot.

Too broke this year to do anything other than shoot as much as possible.

I've got a 700 sps that will be a long term project. Plan on getting a Sightron followed by a HS or McMillan stock. Once factory barrel is burned up I'll get the action trued and have a match barrel spun on (6mm br)...bedding and trigger job at the same time.

The barrel and gun smithing will be a long way off as the wife wants more camera equipment.

Just started my project

260AI with a Stiller Tac-30 action, Krieger 5R 28" heavy varmint barrel, JAE 700RSA Stock

The stock is going to take the longest to get though.

That JAE stock looks pretty impressive. Lots of very nice options and doesn't look as clumsy as the AI or as expensive.

The stock will be pretty expensive actually once Wolverine gets it. They do need to make their money on it.

the Base stock is quite a good price, however once you pick all the additional parts it does add up.

If I can get it in the configuration I want, it'll be right around the top AICS chassis.

Good thing though is that they include an integral bottom metal which for extra can use AICS mags. So that being included in the price does save on having to spend the $$ to buy another one.

.264wm built on a Stevens action fitted with a SS fluted Heavy Sporter barrel by McGowen. Bedded in a B&C fiber stock thats black with silver webbing controlled by a SSS trigger.

Working on a Sendaro in 7 Mag. It's getting a brake right now. Been bedded and a few other bits. Seems a little finicky though, hopefully the brake helps.

Josh you bought that barreled action! I was hummin and hawwin about that. I guess you snooze you loose!

yeah, i think i snagged a good deal there. figger the price into it had to be far mor than the askin. Il throw it in a new hs precision stock for $300 and let my buddies shoot er

6mmBR
Trued 700 action with all the bells and whistles
Krieger 1-8", finishing at 28", 1.250" tube, chambered for 105gr Bergers
Robertson GBF Stock
Jewell BR trigger

Other than waiting for the stock, the other parts are all waiting and ready to go at Mick McPhee's.

Hopefully in time for the F-class season. :)

I just realized I gotta a little project too. I feel all grown up now. :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana:

#1. Savage Stevens in 223, timney trigger, waiting for Shilen bull barrel with 1/8 twist and the same stock that Magnum Peanut has been waiting half a year for. I only ordered mine in December though. They said 8 weeks so it should be here some time next month. :)

The only thing that I've got on the go is rebarrelling a VLS with a 1-8 Gaillard, Palma contour finished at 28" and chambered for .223 long throat. Normal blueprint and bedding, probably a Jewell.

.284 Win built on a blueprinted Remington XR-100 Action (Aquired)
PT&G Bolt (Waiting to order)
Krieger #11 Contour will finish at 30" (On Order)
Jewell BRXR Trigger (Aquired)
Factory XR-100 Stock (Aquired)

This will be my 3rd XR-100 build for F-Class Competition
