UPDATE !!! Bushnell Elite 20x60 SLR Camera adapter

Does any one know of a place to find this discontinued item ?? its a bushnell part # 780050 i called bushnell canada and its discontinued & out of stock permanently. called several gun shops & camera stores in victoria / vancouver.

basically it allows you to mount your digital slr camera to your scope for long range photography.

i find this VERY strange that this is Bushnells "big" scope, their largest most powerful spotting scope that continues to get great reviews and yet they discontinue the SLR camera adapter...forgive my suspicious nature but... there has been talk before about these adapters ( that cost almost nothing ) are "stealing" big revenues from camera lens manufactures ?? i'm not a camera expert but why would anyone spend $1000+ on a lens when they have a spotting scope to mount the camera on ? is this possibly why its been discontinued ??

found one in great britain so i'm good but.... after a ton of research i found out why bushnell discontinued this camera adapter... I thought originally it was because of some conflict of interest with a parent or subsidiary company that was making camera lenses and they didnt want this less expensive option on the market. I'M NOT a big fan of corporate interference with money saving inventions. they will do whats best for THEM.. after reading about who bought them, what they build and who are their customers are it appears there may be a more to it. I wont give my opinion here but read it for your self on wiki.
