Update:my AR 15 is complete.......for now PIC added

Just received the final piece of of the AR puzzle, an Aimpoint 3x magnifier from DS Tactical. So now I have almost as much money invested in optics as the base cost of the rifle. So so far there is:

CORE15 MOE from Wanstall's
Geissle SSA trigger from Arms East
Aimpoint PRO and magnifier from DS Tactical
American Defense swing mount from Calgary Shooting Centre
Spec Ops sling, Wolff extractor spring, Spikes H2 buffer and BAD lever from Brownell's

Now to find time to shoot it more often!

I would have just bought the better rifle to begin with, leave the fancy $600 magnifier for later.....now it is going to be hard to upgrade with the shortages.

To be honest, DD isnt that much better than Core15...maybe the barrel is better made...that is about it.

Not sure what makes a rifle top tier. CORE15 supplies government departments with select fire and SBR. They put out at least 200 rifles a month and use hi tech manufacturing and qc equipment (I went there to see for myself). I get moa accuracy and so far, no malfunctions. I guess I could buy the Lexus brand, but the Toyota is working for me and I get to support a small company. I am in now way saying they are all equal because I don't own another AR to compare.

Who cares. The CORE 15 is a decent rifle, and I'm sure it will do everything the OP needs it to.

Ford or dodge, mastercraft or snap on, blonde or brunette...it doesnt seem to matter what you have, there is always some debbie downer pointing out your "mistake" for choosing different. I say good work on supporting site sponsors and nice rifle, Brother! As long as it works for you and you like it.
