Hi,
I have a Ross M10 Rifle (Military? as it has full wood and a bayo lug). I would like to figure out the history on this piece as I don't have any books on the piece.
On the butt of the stock is states ECH.G. and then a 1## digit serial number
It also came with a Brass Oiler that has DA 17 on the bottom.
It's in really great shape. Only has a few dents in the wood and the bolt has Case Hardening marks (the Blue Colour look). When I received it the barrel looked dark so I cleaned it up and the Barrel has very distinct rifleing and is shinny with very very little pits (hardly visible and hardly any).
What would be the History on this piece?
Any Info would be greatly appreciated.
Here's the pics I said I'd take.
oh one other thing the sling loops are tight none of them rock back and forth on their own, just an example how unused this rifle is.
Thanks

deal considering what it is. The origin: well my buddy tells me that his dad and uncle were renovating a house and when they removed one of the walls there were guns behind it; shotguns, semi autos and few milsurps.
