Since my original posting on this rifle I have had a lot of help from people and have found out a lot more about this gun. It is truly amazing what is out ther on the internet if you have direction on where to look. I have never been a computer friendly person but I can sure see advantages to learning.
Anyway, I was directed to a google search of the phrase italian youth carbine and different sites came up. It appears these guns sell in the US for between $400- over 700 US depending on condition.
So that really answers my question regarding the value. I would like to thank everyone who helped me out with information. Now I have to make a decision. I have included the photographs with the rifle just to provide information for anyone else out there who may be wondering about these rifles and missed my earlier post.
