*UPDATE- RELEASED !!!* NEW .22 from DLASK ARMS CORP.

I don't have a good feeling about this. They are either going to say it is too easy to modify the charger to accept these mags or it is too easy to modify these mags to fit the charger. Even though these mags where definitely designed and manufactured for the tuf-22. That is the reason they need 120 days to come up with an excuse. I really hope I'm wrong because I really want this to become a reality

Duuuude, you've now set the bar: I want one in that exact colour... "Queen's Cowboys Purple", "QC Purple", "Un-Elected Minions Purple", etc.

You cannot modify a Charger to accept the mags. That makes the CHARGER the prohibited device because you would be modifying it specifically to accept hi-capacity magazines. Could you modify a new mag to fit into a Charger ? Sure I guess but not easily. It is a fairly significant lump of polymer. You would need a saw, milling machine or file to remove it. And once you have started in with the tools then where would that argument end ? Are they going to give me a lobotomy because I have the knowledge and skills to make a firearm out of a lump of billet ?

The lunacy needs to stop. They are only making it worse by driving people into an 'us vs. them' camp. Look at the poisonous state of US politics, that's where they are taking this. And since the number of people getting PALs & RPALs in Canada has risen drastically in the last 5 years it's just pissing into the wind on their part.

As my dear old mum used to say "you've got to pick your battles". For them to assault something as beloved as the 10/22 platform is not a good choice of battles for them, it will not win hearts or minds.

I actually really like the colour. It works well with a silver action but it works very well with a black or pewter action.

Great looking firearm... good idea sending them the soft powder puff edition... lol. You're going to sell thousands of them when they get approved. :nest::ar15:

I literally made an order of an 8" barrel and bolt from you a few days ago. I will order the receiver right away once approved by the minions.

Any idea of time between approval and you being able to put this out "on shelf"?

A quick picture of the nice little rifle I built to send in as a sample. I tried to make it the least 'black and scary hi-capacity killing machine' as I could. . .

What about 'Purple People Eater' ?

What brake is that? looks interesting...

It is just a one off unit we made for a black tacti-cool type show gun. Does not do anything except be sharp and pointy. I am waiting for some side port comps to be done, they actually do work well for spot-on double taps.

Once we get the FRT approval we can have these 'on the shelf' in a matter of weeks. The receivers are easy, it's the finishing and anodizing that is out of our control.

Same with the new mags. Once they are running it might take a month to receive the first shipments. After that the orders will be regular and hopefully dealers across the country will buy in volume. We will not be selling the magazines ourselves, it will be dealer orders only so there is no conflict. (If you buy a TUF-22 complete rifle however you will receive 1 new magazine with the gun, the same as we have been doing all along.)

If you have a favorite local gun store please let them know about the developments as we go along. It is difficult for us to reach each and every retailer and we want all of you to have easy access to these new mags.

Dammit Leigh, now I have to buy one of these! The 10/22 you did a trigger job on for me is still running great, but I do miss my standard capacity mags. Love supporting our firearms industry members who are willing to stand up for what's right...

I heard that the mags are the HC3R "type" magazine, is this correct?

Can't wait to finish my build!!

***UPDATE***

We have just received the prototype 3D printed magazine from HC3R and it looks and fits our TUF-22 perfectly ! Big sigh, back to the way the rifles should look. It will ship tomorrow to the SFSS for inspection. They tell us 120 days as a target to get back to us with a decision. Once we get the green light we can have both the rifles and magazines ready for sale within 1-1.5 months. Just in time for spring....( :

Looks great guys. Now I'll starting this but saying Im not complaint but I have a question. If we can get 10 rounds in a mag flush to the stock, why can't someone come up with something a little more compact for 25 instead of a giant banana out the bottom? Am I the only one who thinks this?

Regardless I'll be getting a few of these mags when they come out. Keep up the great work
