UPDATE: Rossi Ranch Hand Mares Leg

Hi guys,

I recently got a Rossi Ranch hand (second hand) and got an extended stock with it. However, I've been running into some feeding issues when attaching that stock to the rifle and there is a gap in between the gun and the stock (see photo). Now I was wondering where I can get a full-sized stock for this little gem. One without a crack...

I am in the process of making a magnetic stock extender.
For my mares leg 44 mag I will let you know how it turns out when I'm finished.
I found some cup magnets with 60 lb pulls so I think 2 of them should hold , plus the leather wrap.

Hey I just got a used ranch hand. Damaged bolt. Hard time getting it back cleaned together anyone else have. Trouble mating the hammer and trigger assemblys. And that spring came of the rod. Pretty tough to get it back on any tips. About to take it to my gunsmith :bangHead:

Thanks. They are very difficult to reassemble I thought how hard could it be for a old style gun but lever actions are harder than pistols shotguns AR's or anything else. Vids Make it look easy but their mare legs fix very loose. Mine and most others are REALLLLY tight. But I still have the damage to the bolt not sure how safe it is any opinions anyone?

nice holster any one know where I can get a holster for my rossi ranch hand .44 any help would be appreciated :)
