I did the safety course for the non-restricted PAL 8 days ago and posted the application in that same day. Then a few days later I was at my local gun store drooling over the restricted firearms so today I challenged and passed the resticted exam. So since I have sent in the application for a PAL do I have to wait for my current PAL application to be issued and then send away for the RPAL? As they have my original certificate for the non-restricted course in the First application!

Thanks
Pete

Now that my PAL and RPAL has been issued I will update you on what happened.

I send away the RPAL application 7 days after I applied for my PAL.

My PAL application was approved and issued on August 12th. The 28th day of my waiting period. I was billed the $60 on August 7th and I had no interviews what so ever.

My RPAL application was approved today ( August 16th ) and again no interviews at all and I was not charged any fee as upgrading your PAL is free. So by sending my RPAL application 7 days later worked in my favor as it saved me $20 :)

I don't know why my application had no interviews at all. Being a good boy all my life pays off I guess.
