Not a total overhaul but a few more modern touches. Had I bought an older model, those are upgrades (sights, beavertail) I would have likely considered.
That gun in the bottom right looks like their Double Eagle design from a few years back. Prohib I guess here...
Looks like Colt is re-entering the market with rehash of old ideas.
Colt is trying to make a come back. For decades their management were centering on Government contracts and didn't really give a damn about the civilian consumer. that is why the dropped their double action revolvers and quit trying out other designs of semi autos.
I don't wish to see Colt to go under, I own several including a Python. But Colt will reap what they sow. They ignored the civilian consumer and had high prices for decades now they expect us to flock to them like homing pigeons.
