Never heard of one in .22. There have been various custom conversions.

The Winchester 37's are pretty well the same gun as well, but again Ive never seen or heard of one in.22. If they exist they are a rare breed.

I've never seen a rimfire 84. Savage 219 is kind of similar but I've only seen those in centre fire.

Well then, I think I need to pursue this offer.
Not entirely sure meself as I only seen one photo of it today and I figured
it resembled more the .410 than the 22 r/f.
Need to git me mittzs awn'err to dubble check.

As far as I know (as others have said)...84s are break-action shotguns, I have one in 20ga/used to have one in .410. I believe 840s came after..but still break-action/single-shot shotguns.

There are break action, single shot 22s that are very similar. NEF/H&R...even Rossi.

Break action definitely not. Having said that I own two smoothbore cooeys in 22 rimfire. They have only a shotgun bead front sight but are based off the model 75 frame. Single shot bolt.

Never offered in 22 as I recall, but I'm pretty sure there was a 30-30 WCF version available in the 1960's.

I've seen several rifle calibres that have been converted to fire in the break action 84s but not from factory

My dad uses them in a rifled mark 1 Lakefield. Hates chipmunks eating the grain. Killed many of them. Definitely clogs up the rifling.

Cooey never put out a hinge 22.

The shotgun 84 is 2-3/4 and the 840 model is 3”.
