These kits are a drop-in complete slide assembly that will replace your factory 1911 slide. No modification to your frame is necessary - GSG 1911 magazines are the same dimension as a single-stack 1911 magazine and will work in your frame (and drop free) with no work required.
The GSG conversion kit is designed to work with both Series-70 and -80 1911 frames. If you have a Series-80 1911, you will have to do some minor adjustments to the GSG slide in order for it to interface correctly. All the necessary parts and instructions are included, of course.
The GSG conversion kit will include a complete slide, one magazine, and all the required small parts and tools you'll need (along with the instructions). Conversion kits come in a plastic hardcase and will include a super-cool GSG sticker
