Updated with ladder test ... Using H4895 out of a .308 T3 Sporter

Any pressure signs @ 43.5? If not then you may want to see what's happening up there. 43 & 43.5 are pretty close so if there were no pressure signs I would explore that possible node as well.
 
I looked over the cases and all seemed well. There wasn't any real difference in felt recoil either. I have less experience reloading for .308 so I am a little more reluctant to go with hotter loads but if someone can explain to me how / why it's safe then I'll give it a shot.
 
Its safe if you're working under max pressure. That is determined by the sum of your components/charge weight. I like to work up to early pressure signs to establish my max load for that specific rifle/load then explore the nodes. Most barrels will show 2 or even 3 nodes. You've found one and there may be another around where you stopped. Finding your max load will tell you if that node around 43/44 grs is safe and worth exploring. Velocity will be higher but tuning will tell you which node is the more accurate and give the full picture of this load in your rifle.
