UPDATE!!! So, I noticed LeBaron's had the 12ga Beretta SV10 Perennia Grade III, field 28 inch barrel on sale... I 'asked' the wife if I could upgrade, got the green light & started looking for a 26 inch barrel... None at LeBaron, they had 28, none at Prophet River, it's actually being discontinued & that's the reason for the sale price...
Called Al Flaherty's AND BINGO!!! Got to choose between two & tomorrow my new upland gun is on it's way to me!!! YAHOO!!!
Pics to follow...
Cheers

Old story...
So, I have the 'GREEN LIGHT' from my beautiful wife to buy a nice upland shotgun...
I went to LeBaron's and SAIL here in Ottawa. I looked at 3 guns at LeBaron, and while they all pointed well for me, I discounted the Browning Citori as it was not as slim as the Beretta 686, even though the Browning they showed me had nicer wood. SAIL showed me about 6 guns, again all pointed well for me, and again the Beretta product stood out, but they only had the 20ga model.
LeBaron has the 12ga Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon Grade 1, field model, with a 28 inch barrel... BUT I REALLY PREFER the look of the 26 inch barrel & I know Beretta makes them in that barrel length. And, if I was getting picky, and had several to choose from, I would choose a darker wood, even better if it had a little character to it!
HELP!!!
Cheers & Thanks in Advance!
