Looking for new sights for my model 60 as mine are atrocious.

It came with the "upgraded sights" on my stainless version (plastic orange front post with a stainless hood) . I'd have much preferred the standard ones.

Tech sights seem hard to come by... so are there any other viable iron sight options?

Red dots look funny and I do not like scopes.

I am very happy with Williams fire sights on my marlin 60, I like them better than the tech sights, but that's all personal preference

I didn't find them locally, ordered online, but I think I do remember bartons having some options, worth a phone call

I got tech sights from Amazon.com I ordered just before Christmas. They arrived in about a week. Immediately after putting them on my accuracy improved remarkably. 100% recommend, although a little pricey when compared to price of the rifle.

I hated the front sight the stainless marlins came with, and I have a 60, 795, xt22 and the 17hmr as well. All have been swapped with the front sight from the blued 795 available at Western gun parts in Edmonton for about 21 dollars with the screw. They are very rugged and the sight picture is good.

I have a Skinner Rimfire sight on my 9422 and it is excellent. Fits right on the grooves on the receiver intended for scope mounting, and I also replaced the front sight post with one of Skinner's brass ones. Google Skinner Sights to check them out.
