Upgraded/painted my M700P :) Pics

I find that it's the best matte clear coat out there. After you're 100% satisfied with your colour pattern; and looks "professional" with no errors, you then apply around 3-4 coats of matte clear coat. I used a hair drier after each coat and let to sit for one day, then applied next coat.

When complete, you'll have a rock-solid finish that's extremely durable :)
 
Nice job. Your stock looks very similar to one I painted a while ago, I used the same products except I used matte black Krylon Fusion as primer and it's holding up very well. I didn't paint the metal work though.
