The short answer is yes.
The question should be; how much would I have to spend?
There are quite a few different options, the cheapest would be to spend about $200 usd in parts from Brownelles, slap them on your rifle and start shooting. You can also do several different mods to the gas port, gas plug and gas piston so that it takes more or less gas to cycle the action. Something as simple as a .020" to .040" hole in the gas plug to vent excess gas can be effective.
These are not mods I would recommend to a neophyte builder, they take an in depth understanding of the platform to do properly and safely.
