I use the iSnipe app. It has an angle finder feature where you place your iPhone on the barrel while you aim. One of my gongs is 4 degree up, the other gong is 5 up.
It's a very useful tool but if you don't have an iPhone it probably won't help.
Yep , i subscribe to that guys channel . Most of his vids are pretty basic but he was an operational Marine Corp sniper and is now a police sniper and knows his stuff .
First I am not condoning shooting at 700 yds not even at 500 yds at non injured animal. OK this is as simple as it gets. Imagine you are in Saskachewan and there is as flat field as it can get. Your rifle is zeroed at 200yds has 8" drop at 300yds and 24"drop at 400yds (just like mine). 300yds in front of you is imaginary pole 400yds high with moose standing on top of it. By aye that moose is 500yds away but to shoot it in the hart you have to allow only 8" bullet drop as that moose was only 300yds away. If that pole was say 300yds high and 400yds away away from you that moose would be still 500yds away by aye and you would need to aim like he was only 400yds away and allow only for 24" bullet drop. It's just that easy....
